Just got a text from my old doubles partner.

Made it to the top 8 in singles at the USA Classic in Conn.

He went out to Gordon Dixon.

Just realized I ordered the wrong darts!!!

I wanted the Hankey atomised grip dart.

Looks like I ordered the silver barrel one.

Makes me mad because the pic shows the atomised one!!!

Oh well, we'll see how I like it. No

I'll see how I like the smooth ones 1st. Then I can always sell them and get the other ones.

In a real darting funk right now.

Itching to give a bad shop review.

Not on this order. That was my own fault for ordering the wrong ones. Pic didn't help though.

But someone else is going to get it. Evil or Very Mad

Btw as for me. Nooo smooth darts! dunno why just don't like the looks for some reason. Guess that's why they make different ones. Do a review on the grip would be interesting JD.

From what i know about smooth grip, I really dislike them. My friend has a set, but they are super heavy (26 grams) and have movable points. 2 of the things I hate the most. So can't really give them a fair go.

Really wanted the atomised grip dart, but who knows, I might like them?

Review will be coming either way. Very Happy

Couldn't agree more.

They were never used by the pro's over in England.

That has to tell you something.

Keith Deller used them for a while and I think Ross Montgomery uses em now.

I KNEW that was coming. Keith used them for a bit. if you watch the match against Eric in 83 you can see his darts wobbling.

To be fair that was when they were first out over here, and there was controversy about them been used, but apart from Ross Montgomery I cant think of any recent players over here that use them.
