| have only been playing darts seriously for about 10 months now. these are the darts i've used in league or shoots in order of use. started off with the whitlocks but have settled with the phase 6s as they suit me the best. i also told myself i wouldn't buy any more darts for a whole year after getting on with the 6s (may) and so far so good.
24g winmau simon whitlocks 23g target perfect storm 5s 25g target lewis zirconium 25g unicorn phase 6s

I keep telling him this as well lol
From 1976 for approx 10 years:
22g Unicorn Jet Set (that's what they reckon anyway but I'm not convinced) 25g Unicorn T90 (again not convinced they are T90's) - only used these occasionally if the 22g's weren't flying well
From restarting playing 2 years ago:
22g as above 25g Harrow's Aliens 22g Tony O'Shea silver or black (depended on which I picked up) 21.5g Kong silver or gold (again depended on which I picked up) 22g MC Hammers (custom set - my initials and I support the Hammers lol) 22g Phase II (2nd custom set - if it's good enough for Taylor it's plenty good enough for me lol) 20.5g Monster Ogre II's (labelled as 22g but found out recently that's for the whole set up)
I played for a team Winter 1997/8 as they were desperate for a player and used my original 22g darts then as well. |

| Well I have only had one season playing in a team and I used these from the beginning.
22g Unicorn Phil Taylors - they were half this price when i got mine http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9354252/Trail/searchtext%3EDARTS.htm
After half a season of competitive playing I decided i needed something a bit heavier to suit my throw better, so I changed and went for these.
24g Pure darts 900 series - these come under diff names but its where I got mine http://www.puredarts.co.uk/9dart-900-series/pd900-24g-pure-darts-uk-900-dart-series-80-24g.html
In the off season I have fancied a change so I bought a set of these to get used to before the league restarts at the end of August.
24g Gold mix Chizzys - Got these because they are similar to the 900 series so the change wouldn't be too drastic http://www.dartscorner.co.uk/p37355/Target-Darts---22g-Steel-Tip-Tungsten-Darts---Target---%3Cb%3EDave-Chisnall%3C/b%3E---%3Cb%3EChizzy%3C/b%3E---22g-Gold/product_info.html

| For the last 3 years I have been using strictly my 24g Winmau Testaments. Last night at the Tues. night LOD I used the 24g D16 Elite grip darts I got from Mac and I guess I shot pretty well with them. I had 3 x 180's, a 97, and 104 checkouts. It could be for the 1st time in 3 years I may change what darts I'm throwing. I just have to order a set of storm finger grip points to put in them. Hat |
