PostSubject: Re: Pure Darts   Tue Jun 19, 2012 1:39 pm

Hi,

Thank you for registering for our newsletter.

We have launched our new website with some interesting additional features and would welcome your comments regarding its ease of use, speed of download, functionality and any other ideas about you would like to see on our website.

We have added Dartboards to our range of stock and also recommend you visit the Harrows Specialist Flights page - we now supply these flights in poly bags at a much reduced price.

For our EEC wholesale VAT registered clients we had added that all important NO vat shopping facility but you need to contact us as soon as possible with your log in email address and confirm you vat number we can then amend your account.

For our frequent buyers we have added a wish list facility to make all your regular purchases faster, and doubled this up with a saved basket feature to allow you to prepare orders in advance.

Harrows and Unicorn have released details of their new items for 20012-13 these will be published to our website shortly though both companies are not releasing stock for sale in the UK for about 6 weeks. The buy button will be activated as soon as we receive stock.

Check out our Quantity Discounts (retail sales only) on over 7000 products by clicking the "Info Button".

All our prices are honest, transparent and loads cheaper than other internet sellers which reflect our lower operating costs. We do not believe in inflating a price and then offering a discount code. We do not believe in random discount days. We prefer to set a lowest achievable price and then stay with it.

If you compare our prices with other companies on the net I think you might have a shock as to just how low our prices really are. With a combination of over 9000 different items to currently chose from including Personalised Flights we have all the most popular items covered.

All our advertised prices for stock items INCLUDE VAT so no sudden shocks at the check out. Postage for individual and team purchases in the UK remains at £1 per total order, EEC postage £6 and Rest of the World £10 per total order.

For sales outside the EEC VAT is automatically deducted from the order value at checkout making the goods even cheaper.

I do think that Darts Corner prices are a bit inflated to be honest.

Nice on Saber. It would appear that Pure Darts is really trying to perfect their system. They have already guaranteed to receive my business on anything that they stock.

Always like Pure Darts for their good prices, but always thought the user friendliness of the site could have been better and the range bigger, well it looks like they have improved on the first and hopefully the latter!

I have never bought from PD, but for me, when ordering OCONUS, customer service is just as important as price. If they send the wrong item or it's damaged, it's a major pain for me. So far, I've been lucky. Next time I'm looking for something, I will check Pure too.

Well, I guess I found something. Good prices, nice selection and fast shipping with good shipping costs.

WOW!!!! I ordered a set of Barney Phase 3 darts and a 3D wallet and saved 25 bucks over Mad On!!! Even the shipping was cheaper. I was concerned because there was such a price difference over all the other sites I checked (Mad On and Madhouse). How is this possible? The parts numbers were the same, so I took a leap of faith. I wish they would have had the 1937 Silver Comets, but they didn't. I had to go to Madhouse for those. Now the wait begins.

I thought their website was the worst of all the UK ones I've used. Poor product pictures, very little info about the items and the check-out process is a major PITA. You have to go to that Sage site and they transfer you to Paypal. It's funny how super low prices make that all OK. chicken

Prices will definitely make you more tolerant to the little nuances...

They dont do discount codes, they set their prices as low as they can anyway they said.

Also check part of their July Newsletter:

All our prices are honest, transparent and Loads Cheaper than other internet sellers which reflect our lower operating costs. We do not believe in inflating a price and then offering a discount code. We do not believe in random discount days. We prefer to set a lowest achievable price and then stay with it.

Hmmmm??? do they know something we know too? Smile

Started using Pure Darts recently and I think I'll be using them from now. The delivery times to Ireland are faster than any of the other big shops (DC, A180, RD etc), by as much as 3-4 days in some cases. Excellent prices too, last order was just a few stems and bits and bobs, worked out cheaper there than a180 (despite 10% blackpool discount). Great site!

When did you say you placed the order coach? It typically takes around 14 days to deliver to the US. That's my experience from past orders

Hey Grip, no twitter or facebook for me. I'm still living in the 20th century. old man

Lefty, I placed orders with Madhouse (21:37 our time) and Pure (15:48) on 8/6. I received a shipping notice from MH (04:17) on 8/7. All but 2 of my UK orders have taken 9 days. The other 2 were 5 days (MH) and 21 (A180). My last Pure order took 9.
No reply to my email today and it's past closing time for them. Speaking only for myself, poor customer service always trumps low prices.
